Aquí en España, tenemos el refrán "Es por el interés que te quiero, Andrés."

En estos tiempos difíciles, es una idea que guía a muchas personas. Motivadas por el miedo, establecen y mantienen relaciones con otros siempre pensando en cómo estos amigos, conocidos o colegas les podrían servir.

Sin embargo, a lo largo, esto se siente... y normalmente relaciones-que-no-son-relaciones-de-verdad están destinadas a... fracasar.

¿Y si viviésemos de otra manera?

Hoy, nos reto a todos a que seamos un canal de Amor: que miremos a otras personas en nuestro camino con los ojos bien abiertos, permitiéndonos darles algo de nosotros, sin esperar nada a cambio.

Deja que fluya. Just do it. Sin intereses.

Here in Spain we have a saying: "I love you, Andrés, because I am interested in you".
I.e., because of what you can give me.

In these hard times, it's an idea that guides many people. Motivated by fear, they establish and maintain relationships with others always thinking about how these friends, acquaintances or colleagues might serve their interests.

However, after awhile, that can be felt ... and normally, relationships-that-aren't-really-relationships are bound to... fail.

What if we lived in another way?

Today, I challenge us all to be a channel for Love: to look at others in our path with eyes wide open, allowing ourselves to give them something of ourselves, without expecting anything in return.

Let it flow. Just do it. Interest-free.
